Bruce original

Bruce H Allen, Associate Pastor of Music and Education

A native of Statesboro, Georgia Bruce came to RBC in 2011 as Associate Pastor of Music and Education. After working bi-vocationally in church music ministry since 1980, Bruce answered the call to full time ministry in 2003. In doing so he ended a 29 year career in bank management.

Bruce is married to his college sweetheart, Anne. They have one daughter, Carrie, and two granddaughters who live in Statesboro, GA. Bruce's favorite worship song is "How Can I Keep from Singing" from Chris Tomlin's album, See the Morning:

"How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough? How amazing is Your love? How can I keep from shouting your name? I know I am loved by the King, and it makes my heart want to sing!"

In his free time Bruce enjoys antiquing, junking, refinishing furniture, lamp restoration and repair, singing, and gardening. Sharing the message of Christ and Salvation to all is Bruce's top goal for ministry through RBC.
